Crimson Stormtroopers were elite stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire that were specially trained to operate in the heat of volcanic areas. Whereas lava troopers and magma troopers also served in volcanic environments, Crimson Stormtroopers were identifiable by their crimson red-colored stormtrooper armor. The armor allowed them to stay cool in battle. The troopers were equipped with an E-11 medium blaster rifle, which they could holster, or a DLT-20A blaster rifle.
